Review and Tasting. Sampled on 18/07/2012. Appearance: Clear, transparent. Aroma: Citrus and juniper led nose, akin to pine and lemon meringue pie filling, with herbal, spicy, rooty notes. Taste: Minerally palate more dominated by lemon citrus than juniper – although the two seem to be in battle rather than in harmony. Rooty, herbal notes emerge.
7 Ιουν 2006 · The opening whiffs pick up citrus zest; aeration brings out juniper berry. The palate entry focuses totally on the juniper, and then at midpalate the lemon zest is unmistakable and adds a note of keen acidity. Finishes on the citrusy side of the street and a little bit fiery. — P.P.

14 Ιουν 2015 · Gin and Tonics rock with Gilbey’s London Dry Gin, and given its affordable price that is enough reason to buy it. The spirit requires a little Vodka added when used as a base for a Martini which makes the Vesper Cocktail my preferred Martini-style drink for Gilbey’s.
