Selecting games. Be sure the games are appropriate for the age, experience, and physical condition of the girls. Begin with familiar games which are quickly learned, then move on to more complex games. Avoid games which offend other people’s beliefs or customs.

Games can be used many different ways in Girl Scouting —breaking the ice, developing teamwork, learning or reinforcing skills, building stamina, or just blowing off steam after sitting for too long.
Four Corners: Give everyone a sheet of paper. Have them divide the paper into 4 squares. In each of these squares, the girls will describe themselves by drawing. In advance, choose the 4 topics that the girls will draw. This can be favorite foods, hobbies, family, and dreams (or as you choose.) Give the girls time to draw.
