Giulia Lama (active mainly first half of 18th century) was an Italian painter, active in Venice. Her dark, tense style contrasted with the dominant pastel colors of the late Baroque era. Lama was born c. 1681 in the parish of Santa Maria Formosa in Venice.

Her painting, characterized by its intensity and anti-academic style, follows the Venetian 'neotenebrismo' of Piazzetta, the young Tiepolo, Langetti, and Zanchi. Some noteworthy examples include 'Samson and Delilah,' in a private collection, and particularly the 'Martyrdom of Saint Eurosia,' at Ca' Rezzonico in Venice.

Among her better known works is a Self-Portrait of 1725 (Florence, Galleria degli Uffizi), showing her at the approximate age of forty-four. That work, and many of the roughly thirty paintings ascribed to her, evince the decisive influence of Piazzetta, who did a portrait of her in the guise of Painting (c. 1720, Madrid, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza).
