Glade creek is one of the popular trout streams in southern West Virginia. Glade forms at Flat Top Mountain in Raleigh County and flows through the mountains and valleys until it dumps into the New River in Prince, West VIrginia.
22 Ιαν 2007 · The Glade offers the scenic experience that I look for in trout fishing with the added bonus of having larger fish than are typical in the brookie waters of the Shenandoah. GLADETHD marks the parking area and GLADEBRG marks the spot where the bridge is.

18 Μαρ 2021 · Trout fishing can be enjoyed on these streams within the park: Meadow, Glade, Dunloup, Glade at Babcock State Park, or Mill creeks and Gauley, Meadow, or Little Bluestone rivers. A trout stamp is required when fishing for trout.
29 Σεπ 2010 · Glade Creek trout can be finicky at this time of year. One day they'll take worms, and on your next outing only the guy with the minnows seems to be doing any good. Carrying along an assortment of natural baits, and knowing how to fish them, will put the odds in your favor.
3 Μαΐ 2022 · The lower part of Glade Creek is also a WV Catch & Release trout stream, so bring your fly rod or fishing pole along with you. A footbridge crosses Glade Creek three miles up from the New River. Below the footbridge the trail can be narrow and rocky.
