Describe how FA synthesis is signaled to be initiated. At high blood glucose, Insulin goes up, signalling ACC (Acetyl-CoA) to be dephosphorylated via activated phosphatase. ACC then converts acetyl-CoA into malonyl CoA at which point it is destined to feed into the fatty acid synthesis pathway.
