Glyph of Warding is a level 3 abjuration spell. This spell allows spellcasters to inscribe a ward that can trigger various magical effects when stepped on by an enemy. Inscribe a circle of arcane glyphs on the ground. When stepped on by an enemy the selected magical effect will trigger. The glyph will last until triggered, or until a Long Rest.

Glyph of Warding - Inscribe a circle of arcane glyphs on the ground that trigger a magical effect when stepped on by an enemy. The description says "Only one glyph can be active at a time.". But does that mean glyphs from different casters? Both Cleric and Bard can cast it.
Eldritch blast can deal 500+ damage if optimized with the right gear/build, whereas glyph of warding is much harder to scale with gear. For the same level slot, the fly spell can allow you to deal 3000+ aoe damage with the right gear and build.
The glyph emits a gust of wind that pushes back everyone within range when stepped on by an enemy. Any creatures within the area of effect that fail the Dexterity saving throw will be pushed back. The glyph will last until triggered, or until a Long Rest .
