Rating: 5 stars in Safety/Damage/Recovery. The USRC Gold Rating represents a very high level of performance. Gold rated buildings are expected to suffer only minor damage – less than 10% of replacement cost, and allow functional recovery within several weeks of a major seismic event.

Projects go through a verification and review process by GBCI and are awarded points that correspond to a level of LEED certification: Certified (40-49 points), Silver (50-59 points), Gold (60-79 points) and Platinum (80+ points).
