I applied a warranty claim to Goodman since it's still under warranty. I was told that they don't deal directly to the homeowner but to the distributor, which means that I have to claim it with the installer of the valve and in turn Goodman in turn reimburse the installer.
It only covers the labor of replacing parts, not service calls. And as I have found out, their reimbursement rates are for parts replacement are minimal. But yeah, if you buy a Daikin, you can get a 12-year P&L warranty.
Despite regular maintenance checks twice per year, I just had to replace a 4 year old Goodman after over $5k of repairs in the last 2 years (and that was just for labor and coolant, parts were still under warranty).
29 Ιαν 2023 · You can simply Google Goodman mfg warranty lookup, input your serial number and last name. The database will show if it was registered. If it wasn't registered, then you have 5 year parts warranty.
