17 Φεβ 2020 · You must check with a local Goodwill donation center in your area to figure out what they will or won’t take. Goodwill organizations will explain where to donate household items. Some Goodwill locations have their own set of rules for drop off donations. Remember, one Goodwill location isn’t necessarily the same another.

When you drop off your donations at Goodwill, you’ll receive a receipt from a donation attendant. Hang on to this receipt. At the end of the year, if you itemize deductions on your taxes, you can claim a tax deduction for clothing and household items that are in good condition.

2 Φεβ 2024 · When you are dropping off your items for donation, ask the attendant helping you for a receipt for your contribution. Donation receipts are also available online at https://www.goodwill.org, or you can scan a QR code at your local donation center or text RCPT to (628) 345-5959
Contact your local Goodwill to find out what items they can accept, where and when you can drop off your donations, or if pick-up service is provided in your area. Once you find your local Goodwill, bookmark their website for easier access.
