Just a few miles south of Siesta Key is Nokomis Beach. This is a must go to attraction. This beach is not as crowded as the Sarasota beaches but is just as good if not better. Across from the beach is the inter coastal waterway park. Fish, Dine, watch the pelicans & the occasional manatee swim by.
The miles of wide waterways dominating the environment, un-crowded beaches, and its small-town charm invite visitors to this barrier island just North of Venice, with "Old Time Florida" hospitality. Nokomis Beach Park is known for it's easy access to the area's natural beauty.
