21 Νοε 2008 · I tried using Google Maps on my Bold with the GPS but it would never work, I have version 2.1.0. I JUST installed 2.2.3, I am going to try again. I am also going to try Nav4All.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 (codenamed Onyx [1]) is a smartphone developed by telecommunication company BlackBerry, formerly known as Research in Motion (RIM). The second device in the Bold series, it succeeds the model 9000 and precedes the Bold 9650.
9 Σεπ 2008 · The GPS on the Bold will allow you to receive your GPS coordinates without any carrier connection, but you will NOT be able to get any map data. This goes for every program that you will use (BB Maps, Google Maps, Garmin Mobile, etc). You CAN receive a call when your GPS is running.
