WH3 has some major improvements in coop multiplayer campaigns. It allows for up to 8 players (all other titles are limited to 2 max) and it allows for simultaneous turns for the players (previous games only one player goes at a time). It also has multiple camping options.
Lately I've been enjoying watching hashinshin streams from total war playing 3v3, 2v2 and 8 player FFA campaigns and I've been wondering how many of you guys have tried at least to play a multiplayer campaign with more than 2 players.
Remote Play Together is for local co-op. This game is meant to be played with 2 people over online connections. You're practically asking CA to surrender the current franchise's worth to the second player, which normally would have to pay for it. Edit note:
16 Ιαν 2024 · All of the DLC content is already in the game and usable by the AI. Buying a DLC simply unlocks it for you to use. So there should be no problem with you guys playing together while using different DLC factions. Thanks so much, i also wondered how the whole total war 1, 2, and 3 works.
Warhammer 3 is the first and only game that supports 3+ player campaigns. All games between Shogun 2 and Troy have 2 player campaigns. Don't bank on any older game than that lol. Yeah, only WH3 for 3-player. It's also the first game to have simultaneous turns, which makes co-op a lot better to play. I will say, WH3 is super awesome... Bruh... Lmao.
