3 Φεβ 2021 · Hi, I have the same problem. My LO version is 7.2 and LT 5.5.1. It works fine, but suddenly it just stops. I try to uninstall LT 5.5.1 and install a most recent version (LT 5.6), but it does not work. The LT toolbar is showed but when you try to check grammar or spelling LO indicates “Can not set as grammar check service!

I mainly create documents in the following languages: Dutch (Netherlands), German (Germany) and English (UK & USA). 19 Αυγ 2022 · 5.1 LanguageTool Server Settings is really obscure fro one who does not know what LanguageTool is: something hinting to grammar/spelling check would be better Here Enabling LanguageTool could be renamed LanguageTool (language checker) or somthing alike and one could have LanguageTool linking to LanguageTool.org

23 Ιουν 2022 · If I do “Check spelling as you type” then spell-checking kicks in, but I want grammar checking from LT. BTW I was able to reproduce it with 5.8 oxt (and I removed SNAPSHOT oxt and cached extension directory in LO config folder before installing).

26 Ιαν 2023 · Hi, when I reply to an email with quoting the original message the Languagetool add-on does not recognize the text. The tool says: Text is too short. Please enter at least 5 characters… No matter how much text I write it does not recognize my part of the message. If I delete the quoted text, the check is then available and the add-on works.
