Founded in 2017, Impact Grants Chicago connects, engages and empowers women to improve our community by collectively funding $100,000 grants to Chicago nonprofits that are dedicated to addressing the challenges facing our city.
15 Φεβ 2024 · Chicago Foundation for Women uses a community-led grantmaking process to review and recommend grants awarded. The Foundation’s Board of Directors reviews all recommendations and approves all grant awards.
Since 1985, Chicago Foundation for Women has invested more than $45 million through over 4,000 grants, annually impacting 226,000 women, girls, trans, and gender nonbinary individuals across the Chicago region, so they are healthy, safe, and economically secure.
The Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW) increases resources and opportunities for women and girls through grantmaking, leadership development, and public and grantee education. It serves as a central coordinating entity for individuals and institutions working to achieve gender equity in the Chicago area.
To support this work, Impact Grants Chicago annually awards $100,000 grants to Chicago nonprofits, providing them the funds to support high-impact projects and programs. We fund new programs or projects as well as the expansion or continuation of successful programs or projects.
