The Great Forest (Nagyerdő) in Debrecen has won an internet public vote organised by the Ministry of Agriculture; the Minister of Agriculture István Nagy presented the certificate.
For the fourth time, the “Great Forest Week” will take place between the 9th and the 15th of October, presenting Hungary's most beautiful forest, the Great Forest of Debrecen. The organisers announced the programmes at a press conference in the Sziget Blue Theme Park on the 5th of October, 2023.
9 Οκτ 2023 · The Great Forest of Debrecen, Hungary’s most beautiful forest, will be presented for the fourth time between 9 and 15 October 2023, under the title of Great Forest Week, by the Great Forest Society, the Debrecen Values Committee, Future of Debrecen, and several partners.
13 Οκτ 2024 · For the fifth time, a series of events celebrating Hungary's most beautiful forest, the Great Forest of Debrecen, will take place.
12 Οκτ 2023 · As the opening event of the Great Forest Week, an exhibition presenting Hungary’s most beautiful forest, the Great Forest of Debrecen, was opened in the New Town Hall Gallery on 9th of October 2023.
5 Οκτ 2022 · Detailed programme of the Big Forest Week: 1st October 2022. Location: Debrecen, Nagyerdő. Start and finish of the race: 500 m from the corner of the cemetery (gate number 3, roundabout) in the forest.
