The myth of Iphigenia appears frequently in the decoration of fourth-century painted vases found throughout Southern Italy. This paper considers a group of six vessels decorated with the theme of Iphigenia to explore intersections between the myth, the cult of Iphigenia/Artemis, and funerary practices of the Italic peoples of ancient Apulia.
