Apply in 20 to 75 gal water/acre as a directed spray to avoid contact with terminals of the tomato plant. Do not use with a surfactant, with other pesticides as a tank mix, or within 24 hours of other pesticide applications. Tomatoes should be 6 to 10 inches tall or the 6-true-leaf stage.

Herbicide Application Methods. Most herbicides are available in a liquid form which is easy to apply using a suitable spray kit, however, some pre-emergent herbicides, such as Oxafert, are available in a granular form which can be spread using a fertiliser spreader.
