22 Δεκ 2021 · Roundup power max is water-soluble; you can use it as granules or foliar. Apply the herbicide when grass burrs are actively growing with at least 5cm of broad leaves to reduce chances of regrowth. The grass burrs should be stress-free from drought, heat, or frost.
With proper fertilization, mowing and irrigation, you can produce a turf that is dense enough to prevent sandbur (grassbur)s from becoming a problem. However, if field sandburs (grassburs) do become a problem there are several effective herbicides that can be used to control this particular weed.
22 Μαρ 2023 · Pre-emergent herbicides are what you need to prevent burrs and any other type of weed seed from taking over your lawn. However, you can only use these on an established lawn and never after the application of grass seed or during a year when grass seed may be applied.
