I booked and paid, turned up for the car - NO CAR BOOKING! I was cut off by Priceline on the online chat without getting any assistance. I was asked to fax (hello is this the 1980's?) the receipt for the car I had to hire on the spot. I did that last Tuesday - I got an acknowledgment today.
I recently booked online and hidden deep inside their contract which isn't clearly advertised or easily accessible - a rule that states unlimited mileage vehicles can only be rented by out of state travelers who provide travel itinerary. Does anyone have experience with the new Express Deal option from Priceline when booking car rentals? Its a good couple hundred dollars cheaper, and they guarantee that the rental is from a major rental company, but I'm worried about getting slammed with fees at the counter.
Car Rental rip-off. I booked a special deal on a car rental through Priceline. I was billed the quoted price of $119 by Priceline. When I returned the car I was charged $350 by the car rental company with no credit for the $119 already paid. My Priceline confirmation number was on the invoice so I know that it was the same booking.
15 Αυγ 2023 · However, if you need a package deal with flights and/or rental car included, you’ll find Priceline to be a much better option. As I mentioned in my Hotels.com vs Booking.com comparison, one thing I really like about Hotels.com is their group packages.
