Grub Street Literary Magazine is Towson University’s award-winning literary journal, run entirely by undergraduate students enrolled in “Editing the Literary Magazine”, an English upper elective class.
Grub Street is Towson University's arts and literary magazine. Published yearly, the magazine features the writings and artwork of Towson students and others in the community. The magazine is nationally recognized and has won many awards given by the Columbia Press Association.
You can read Chelsea’s poem “The Leopard Slug” in Volume 70 of Grub Street, out now. Click here to view Volume 70. Chelsea Harlan holds a B.A. from Bennington College and an M.F.A. in poetry from Brooklyn College, where she was a Truman Capote Fellow.
Grub Street is Towson University’s award-winning literary journal, run by students enrolled in “Editing the Literary Magazine.” Anyone is encouraged to submit! We want your best poetry, nonfiction, fiction, and visual art.
SEND US YOUR BEST POEMS, FICTION, CREATIVE NON-FICTION, AND ART. Our staff is currently reading submissions for Volume 74 (to be published May 2025). The submission deadline is December 15, 2024. During our reading period, submissions are evaluated on a rolling basis.
