Grub Street is Towson University’s award-winning, student-run literary magazine. Submissions for Volume 74 are open! Head to our Submittable page and send in your piece(s).
We accept submissions in the usual genres (fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction and visual art), as well as submissions that are less easily categorized, including, for example, graphic stories, comics, one-act plays, collage, and visual poetry.
Submissions for volume 68 are now open! Please direct all submissions to our Submittable page. Submission guidelines are as follows: Anyone is welcome to submit. Only previously unpublished works (either in print or online) will be considered for publication. Please submit one work per file.

We’re especially excited about receiving genre-defiant submissions, such as poetry comics, prose poems, flash fiction, flash essays, lyric essays, graphic novel or memoir excerpts, and speculative nonfiction.
