14 Απρ 2010 · This is my 90's (I think) GT Outpost. I've actually had this bike for a long time now, but it has just been collecting dust. I just recently started mountain biking, and I want to get this bike as close to "par" as I can get without shelling out a ton of cash.

2 Μαΐ 2011 · I have a 1996 Outpost (steel, red) that has a 1" headtube. I put XT v-brakes on mine (replaced the stock cantilevers) and a 1" steerer Judy XC. The rear v-brake was all but useless until I added a brace.
13 Μαρ 2013 · I am currently finalizing an upgrade on my 1998 GT Outpost Trail and am looking for opinions. Obviously it's an old bike and there is much out there newer and better, but I am tight on funds and have been making due with the thing since I got it.

The GT Outpost is a mountain/hybrid bike with an aluminum, chromoly and steel GT / Tange frame. The frame comes in colors like red, sand and teal. Originally released in 1993, there are 14 versions of this bike. Due to the frame materials, we estimate that this bike weighs around 30 pounds.
