I hadn't noticed that my USB Xbox controller was plugged into my PC while I was running GTA V and trying to use my wireless Steam Controller. I unplugged the USB Xbox controller, restarted GTA V, and it was accepting inputs from the Steam Controller right off the bat. Everything works fine now.

So I usually set the controller up in a separate directory and just use the xinput1_3.dll and ini files in the GTAV folder. I should probably add that to the guide. Also if it is still crashing, you can try opening up x360ce and going to Game Options, select GTAV and switch it from 64 bit 1.3 to 64 bit 1.4 and click Synchronize.
4 ημέρες πριν · Launch OpenIV and select Windows under Grand Theft Auto V. Locate the Grand Theft Auto V installation folder and select it. With OpenIV open, select ASI Manager under the Tools submenu, then install ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI. Enable Edit mode under the File submenu. Scroll down to the update.rpf file within mods\update\ used by OpenIV and open it.
