3 Μαΐ 2022 · What are the pros and cons of each race in Guild Wars 2? Simply put, your race does not matter. You can pick any race you like and each race can play every profession (class).
There are currently five Playable races: Asura, Charr, Human, Norn and Sylvari. Each Playable race has a unique appearance and unique Racial skills with variations in their personal story. However, their attributes are identical in all respects. Asura are the smallest (in stature) race. Hardest to see / target in WvW and PvP, especially in a crowd.
12 Ιουλ 2023 · The player's race determines their biography questions, tutorial mission, starting area, and early to mid personal story, including racial sympathy options. Race also has an effect on how certain NPCs react to the character.
31 Ιουλ 2021 · Each race has 6 unique racial skills - these include healing, utility and elite skills. These racial skills cannot be used in Structured PvP, underwater. Oh, and Revenants also don’t have access to them as Revenant Healing, utility and Elite skills depend on the Legend which is being channelled.
Currently my top two are equally human and charr. I've got a human male guardian and a human male thief, who I've had since I've first started playing. Then followed by my charr male revenant and my charr female warrior who I've made a year or so later. They're all my favourite characters right now. Next is sylvari.
You should pick the race that most appeals to you and none other since any ultimate class will not be using racial skills. No end game PvE build uses racial skills and PvP doesnt have access. But there are presently three racial skills that ive seen used in WvW.
