EDIT 10/6/2012: For much of the fic, there is a young girl featured prominently. Originally, she was called "Melanie". The truth is, she is the girl that Kira meets in Gundam SEED, the girl who goes on the space shuttle heading back to Earth in episode 13. That girl is canonically named "Elle".
