Petition for Review from Magistrate Court to State Court: Certificate of Service for Petition for Review to State Court
Effective January 15, 2020, it is the standing order of the Gwinnett County Magistrate Court to accept electronic filings through the Gwinnett County Clerk of Court's Electronic Filing Portal. Electronic filing in Magistrate Court is permitted, but not mandatory.
The Gwinnett County Clerk of Courts website is maintained separately and independently from gwinnettcounty.com. The Gwinnett Courts website is the official site for Superior, State, Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and Recorder's Court information.
The court system does not accept electronic requests. Requests should be made by calling 770.822.825. Certified birth and death certificates cost $25 for the first copy and $5 per each additional copy. Request forms are available on the Probate Court’s website and may also be submitted by mail.
The Clerk of Court only accepts written requests for divorce records. These should be mailed to: Clerk of Court, PO Box 880, Lawrenceville, GA 30046. The Gwinnett County Probate Court keeps and manages access to county marriage records. These include applications for a marriage licen.
