After the original company closed, in 1991 a new company, H&R 1871 was formed in Gardner, Massachusetts. In 2000, H&R 1871 was purchased by Marlin Firearms. The assets of Marlin, including H&R 1871 and its subsidiary, New England Firearms (NEF), were bought by Remington in 2007.

16 Δεκ 2022 · The Harrington & Richardson 929 9 shot revolver began production in 1956 and ended in 1986. A transfer bar system was introduced in 1974, my H&R was made in 1974. It has the full size square butt frame and uses the older style all metal hammer strut. No plastic arm to replace after 30 years.
