Food and drink prices are very reasonable. There is a good variety of food choices in the park and they were quick. Bring your ID for some adult beverages (frozen drinks, cocktails, wine and beer). There is a lot of things to do in the park so you can spend most of the day there - and lots of umbrellas so you can sit comfortably.
The food and drinks are also highly priced for the food that they have available. They are not offering any type of discount for season tickets for previous year customers. So my family and I are going to be traveling to Water Country and the Nags Head beach for our family fun this year.
I have been to my fair share of water parks, and this is one of the best - even compared to the Orlando ones. Here are the great things about it: 1) They don't nickel and dime you. Parking is free, food is reasonably priced (and very good) and free ice water easily accessible. 2) The staff is super nice.
Choose from one of 45 standard or 10 deluxe cabanas scattered throughout the waterpark near Teach's Tide Adventure River, Calico Jack's Cove or the Cat-5 Wavepool. Cabana pricing does not include park admission and all sales are final. No refunds or rainchecks will be given including if the park closes early due to inclement weather.
