More than double that time has passed now between Hades 1 and 2. According to the FAQ, they began working on Hades 2 at the beginning of 2021, so pretty much right after they were done patching up Hades 1.
On January 1st, it was 1/365 chance of Early Access being released. Today, it's 1/192 since today is the 173rd day of the year. Each day, it gets more likely that we find out more news! If you start a new file on Hades, (especially after a couple years of not playing it,) it could feel like Hades 2. : )
