The Mask of the Matriarchs is a head slot item that can be obtained during the 2024 Halloween event. It requires level 75 Defence to wear. After being worn once, the item becomes untradeable and is bound to account.
A pumpkin mask is a reward from the 2023 Halloween event. It was made obtainable again during the 2024 Halloween event. A rotten pumpkin mask can be changed into a pumpkin mask after having smashed at least 250 pumpkins (both Party and Smashing Pumpkins count) during the 2023 Halloween event.
A rotten pumpkin mask is an item given to players for free by Pumpkin Pete during the 2023 Halloween event. This mask is also currently obtainable during the 2024 Halloween event by smashing the Smashing Pumpkin in the Graveyard.
After 10 thousand pumpkins smashed without a single Halloween Mask, which is for me the core item in this event, disappoints me. The idea for the event was very good (I loved it), however the drop rates don't make any sense in a festive event where everyone is trying to have fun and collect festive items.
