16 Απρ 2008 · This is one of the early Korean Hamers and is not like the newer ones. The mahogany body is one piece and beautiful. The flame top speaks for itself. It is VERY lightweight and resonant. It needed new tuners and I put some inexpensive locking tuners on it.

24 Ιουν 2010 · I own a 2002 Hamer Studio with SD 59's and could possibly be picking up a Hamer Mahogany Artist, but I can't try before buying. How would you describe the tonal differences between the Artist and Studio models, assuming both had the same humbuckers fitted?

- slightly offset double cutaway mahogany body, arched bound figured maple top, set three-piece mahogany neck, 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with MOP crown inlay, tune-o-matic bridge/stop tailpiece, three-per-side tuners, chrome hardwa... - similar to the Studio P-90, available in Black or Gold Top finish, disc. 1998.
All Hamers with mahogany bodies used single-piece Honduras Mahogany since the first ones in the mid-1970s. Many of the necks in the early 80s and again in the early 90s were slim, but not all and they got chunkier by the move to CT in 1997.
