While it's not a standout performer in most categories, it can get the job done in most conditions and is substantially less expensive than most other options in our review.

5 Απρ 2024 · The Hammock Gear Economy Burrow Quilt (“Econ Burrow”) is a fantastic value for a high-quality top quilt and perfectly suited as a hammock top quilt for the backpacker who doesn’t mind a few extra ounces in exchange for a much lower price.
The HG Econ Burrow 20, standard length/width, weighs 24oz, while the HG Premium weighs 20.4oz for the same rating, at $100 higher price. If you're buying this quilt, part of the reason is that $100. I purchased the "wide" width as recommended for ground sleepers, and would second that recommendation.
PROS. Competitively priced ultralight backpacking quilt. Premium quality manufacturing. 20-denier fabric is more durable than ultralight 10-denier. Optional overfill (which can help improve lifespan) CONS. A few ounces heavier than quilts using top of the line 900+ fill power down.
Ultralight design suitable for both ground and hammock sleep systems. Unique vertical and horizontal baffling system to minimize down migration. Horizontal chamber at the head end functions both as a draft collar and a barrier to vertical seams for added comfort around the user's face and neck.
