28 Φεβ 2024 · The Hammock Gear Economy Burrow 20 is an excellent budget-minded quilt, perfect for those jumping into quilt-life. While it's not a standout performer in most categories, it can get the job done in most conditions and is substantially less expensive than most other options in our review.
The HG Econ Burrow gives you a chance to trim 20 ounces at the same or lower cost. The only thing you give up is maybe a couple of degrees comfort rating, and that coming from a lifetime mummy bag user.
15 Δεκ 2017 · Burrow Econ 20 Review. I received a Burrow Econ 20 in the mail this week. I can hardly believe how much better this works than any insulation I've used before. It's almost magical—there's so much less fiddling to get things right. My quilt is supposedly a second, but I don't see any defects on it.
5 Απρ 2024 · The Hammock Gear Economy Burrow Quilt (“Econ Burrow”) is a fantastic value for a high-quality top quilt and perfectly suited as a hammock top quilt for the backpacker who doesn’t mind a few extra ounces in exchange for a much lower price.
PROS. Competitively priced ultralight backpacking quilt. Premium quality manufacturing. 20-denier fabric is more durable than ultralight 10-denier. Optional overfill (which can help improve lifespan) CONS. A few ounces heavier than quilts using top of the line 900+ fill power down.
23 Δεκ 2019 · After two years of use, can't deny it's well made, but the current price for a wide overstuffed Econ Burrow 20 is $216. At that point, saving an extra $80 for a Katabic Flex or other better quilt is probably the way to go.
31 Ιαν 2023 · I have the Hammock Gear Burrow top quilt in three different temperature ratings, 40, 20, and 0, and I’ve come to love them! I bought these directly from Hammock Gear — before GGG started stocking the Burrow — and can say that they are extremely well made products at an affordable price.
