2 Μαρ 2007 · Hammond Theater Organ Elegante Model #340207 value. 03-02-2007, 09:10 PM. Somebody has been posting the above organ for about a year now in the local craigslist. He keeps posting this ad over and over again and he keeps asking for $2000 for it. Is this worth that much any more?
The Hammond XH-273 Elegante needs no introduction as the king of pop organs. With drawbars, rhythms, accompaniments, disk drive and that Hammond feel and sound, it’s the home organ to which all others are compared.
13 Φεβ 2008 · Re: Hammond Elegante Models. Pro Chord is indeed the AOC type device, but for some reason best known to Hammond, the harmonies were placed above the played note!</P>. Looking at some pix of a 207 series, it does have the rows of push buttons at the left end of both manuals.
XH-273 Elegante in cherrywood finish with black velvet upholstered bench. Listed in just fair condition due to its need of a good cleaning, as well as a string of 5 natural keys and their inner flat/sharp keys on the lower keyboard are not producing sound.
The Elegante has an Leslie Rotosonic drum on a vertical axis, versus a foam baffle type rotor on a horizontal rotational axis on the Aurora classic. The rotosonic yields a 360 degree sound dispersion, more comparable to a external Leslie.
