Patricia Marie Gasso (née Froehlich; born May 27, 1962) [1] is an American softball coach for the Oklahoma Sooners. She has been the head softball coach at the University of Oklahoma since 1995.
Deifel's sister, Amanda Scott, is currently the head softball coach at Missouri-St. Louis and won a Women's College World Series title at Fresno State in 1998. Deifel and her husband, Joe, are the parents of two sons, Trip and Walt.

Friday afternoon, his wife, Patty, and her top-seeded OU softball team start play in the NCAA Tournament. Their sons are coaching in the tournament, too, J.T. at OU and D.J. at Utah.

26 Φεβ 2018 · After their respective graduations, the couple became coaches — Gasso a softball coach at La Mirada High, and Jim an assistant football and baseball coach at Pasadena City College. They were married June 21, 1986.
