It operated services within Germany and to destinations in Europe. On 15 January 2007, it combined its operations with those of Hapag-Lloyd Flug to become TUIfly. [1]

12 Σεπ 2023 · HLX – the yellow taxi airline. On December 3, 2002, TUI group launched its new in-house low-cost airline Hapag-Lloyd Express (HLX) with its hub in Cologne/Bonn, which didn’t even belong to the holiday carrier, but rather was met with resistance there.
Hapag-Lloyd Express was formed in 2002 as a low cost carrier formed by German tour operator TUI and Germania to serve European and domestic routes as from late 2002. In Jan2007, it was merged into TUIfly with Hapagfly
