Harriet Amelia Folsom Young (August 23, 1838 – December 11, 1910) was a pioneer and an early member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, as well as a cultural and political figure in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In the Brigham Young room in the Pioneer Memorial Museum hangs a beautifully tinted likeness of Amelia Folsom Young. There is also a case in which are displayed some of her personal belongings. She was a woman of exquisite taste.

Near the end of his life, Amelia Folsom (m. 1863) would become his most significant female companion, and would often accompany Young to dances and to the theater, as well as on tours of the Mormon settlements. [12]
