The U.S. Geological Survey has released new Landsat satellite images that show some of the flooding Hurricane Florence’s historic rains caused across the Carolinas. Preliminary USGS data indicates that Florence’s heavy rains resulted in 19 new water level records on rivers and streams in North Carolina and 11 in South Carolina.
