Hayden Birdsong (born August 30, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the San Francisco Giants of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024.
He was a first-team All-Ohio Valley Conference pick in ‘22. Selected by SF in the sixth round of the 2022 draft, the ninth Panther to be taken by SF all-time. Before Birdsong it was current Giants Farm Director Kyle Haines in 2004. Played baseball at Mattoon (IL) HS and was selected to the All Apollo Conference First Team.
