   I can't just pass the signal thru my receiver, as my receiver is only HDMI 2.0, and need at least HDMI 2.0b to support all features except 120hz 4K. I'm fine with 60hz, and if I really want some 120hz gaming, I can set it to 1440p.

   I ended up with this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Converter-Extractor-Optical-Toslink-Support/dp/B073TXX3KV. It works with the One X and Series X fine, I can get 1440 60htz normally, and get 120htz if I turn off Vsync on the monitor.
