The rash appears in 2 stages. Stage 1: single, round patch. The first stage of the rash is a single, scaly patch called a herald patch.
Symptoms of heat rash vary depending on type: Miliaria crystallina presents as 1–2 mm superficial clear blisters that easily break. The blisters can look like beads of sweat. There is no inflammation. The blisters are usually seen widely spread on the head, neck, and upper trunk. The vesicles break easily to leave a bran-like scale.
