HeartScore is the ESC interactive tool to calculate the 10-year risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular disease events, updated with SCORE 2, SCORE 2-OP and recommendations from the 2021 ESC Guidelines on CVD Prevention in Clinical Practice, for healthcare professionals and their patients.
This information will help determine if you are at high enough risk of a heart attack or stroke to need treatment. To do this, your care provider will 1) review your medical history and 2) gauge your overall risk for heart attack or stroke.
Assess individual cardiovascular risk for different patient populations. Developed by the European Association of Preventive Cardiology, the ESC CVD Risk Calculation App provides guidance on which is the most appropriate calculator for your patient, as well as up to 10-years or life-long risk.
