26 Ιουν 2024 · Producing cement offers a large opportunity for CO2 sequestration but is hindered by low CO2 capture efficiency and high energy consumption. Here, CO2 injection into a cement suspension...
Cement concrete presents a significant opportunity for carbon dioxide (CO 2) capture, utilization, and storage through carbonation treatment. This process involves carbonating binders, industrial waste materials, and recycled aggregate concrete, which can subsequently be integrated into fresh concrete mixtures.
8 Φεβ 2021 · By accounting for these factors, we determine the net CO2 benefit when CCU concrete produced from CO2 curing and mixing substitutes for conventional concrete.
5 Σεπ 2022 · For in situ studies, concrete carbonation environment reported usually covers a relatively limited range, most of the reported cases have a CO2 concentration between 0.03% and 0.05%, RH from 30% to 80% and temperature from 20 °C to 25 °C.
9 Δεκ 2022 · This work introduces the important significance of CO 2 absorption by using cement-based materials, and summarizes the basic characteristics of carbonation of concrete, including the affected factors, mathematical modeling carbonization, and the method for detecting carbonation.
19 Αυγ 2020 · The influences of temperature, relative humidity (RH) and carbon dioxide (CO 2) concentration on concrete carbonation in a simulated environment were investigated. The carbonation depth, compressive strength and surface strain of concrete under different simulated environments were tested.
