1 Ιουν 2022 · Enraged at his cousin’s death and bound by duty, Achilles challenges Hector to a duel outside Troy’s gates and kills him, after which he drags his body back to his camp. Later, the latter’s father King Priam secretly approaches the Greek warrior and requests him for his son’s body.
8 Οκτ 2020 · In Troy, the Greek hero Achilles kills Hector in a duel outside the gates of the city. Why does he weep over the corpse of the Trojan prince?
The next day, Achilles arrives outside Troy and challenges Hector. The two duel until Hector is killed, and Achilles drags his corpse back to the Trojan beach. Priam sneaks into the camp and implores Achilles to return Hector's body for a proper funeral.
It's climax is the death of Hector, which happens in the movie with like half an hour to go in it. The only scene I can directly take as being from The Iliad, dialogue and all, is the previously mentioned Peter O'Toole scene.
