14 Μαρ 2008 · The hardware for the ACH helmets–where the chin strap retention system webbing attaches to the helmet shell–must be covered by padding during airborne and other high risk operations such as air assault and rappelling/mountaineering. The oblong/oval pads must be placed flush with the rim (edge) of the helmet and completely cover the hardware.
