27 Δεκ 2011 · The authentic, original, original Chex Party Mix was very simple - containing only Wheat and Rice Chex cereals, butter, Worcestershire sauce, salt and garlic salt. As pictured, I've made a few changes, including substituting Corn Chex for the wheat and adding thin pretzel sticks.
21 Δεκ 2016 · Original Chex Mix recipe is oven baked, low and slow. Take out the extra rack in your oven if you have one, and put the remaining rack on the bottom or next to the bottom level. Preheat oven to 225°F | 110°C.
The original Chex mix recipe above required baking it in the oven and stirring it at intervals, but this new (and much easier) microwave recipe means that you can have homemade Chex mix in about 15 minutes!
