26 Δεκ 2022 · Interesting 3.5 Eco Gen1 Gen 2 Comparison. One of the reasons I didn't want a Gen 1 3.5 Ecoboost with Direct Injection only was the intake valve issue with carbon build up. After watching this video I am glad I waited.

24 Ιουν 2017 · I'm looking for some input from those of you who have experience with both the Gen1 and Gen 2 3.5 EcoBoost engine. Are the improvements Ford made to the Gen 2 engine a big deal? Torque and power seem pretty close.
The Gen1 3.5L EcoBoost is based on the Duratec 3.5 V6 aluminum engine block. This engine utilizes gasoline direct injection (2150 PSI) for maximum knock resistance, fuel efficiency and performance. Gen1 powered F-150 trucks feature twin BorgWarner turbochargers tuned to produce 15 PSI of boost.
23 Μαΐ 2021 · Running M1 EP for 5,000 mile intervals in my 2019 Raptor. So far, so good. I think sticking to 5k mile intervals is a good choice from what I’ve read about the 3.5 Ecoboost. Enjoy that new truck!
