21 Ιουλ 2022 · My company's corporate codes (both Avis and Hertz) resulted in CDW being automatically refused; the company instead provided a corporate credit card to use for insurance for business travel. I had no trouble using the code (for the discount) and my own card for personal travel.
I used a code for USAA with Hertz for years and was never asked. Then last year all of a sudden they started asking me to show proof. So I guess the answer is, probably not, but you never know.
The Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program lets you earn points on each qualifying Hertz rental for business or leisure. My Hertz Gold Plus Rewards number was not attached to my rental, can I still earn points on that rental?
Using these codes without being an employee or member is outside of their rate terms. If you do get into an accident, your own insurance may be void coverage if your misuse gets surfaced. It's also possible that car rental companies may change your rate during your rental if they find out.
