Abstract. This is a qualitative case study of the experiences and perceptions of South African and especially international, African students living in university residences in South Africa. The concept, community, is used to interpret interview data.
Introduction. This conceptual paper explores frameworks and innovative ways of supporting lifelong learning through school middle management training in leadership and management. The purpose of the paper is to highlight the importance of funding the training of HoDs in South African public schools because people are the main assets of schools.
Abstract. There are foundational universal design for learning (UDL) principles that support accessibility and inclusivity that can be incorporated into instructional materials. Creating instructional materials that are accessible and inclusive is a comparatively new challenge that is gaining awareness.
Social inclusion in higher education – often called the social dimension of higher education – refers to the increasing access to higher education and degree completion for underrepresented groups, improving Europe’s human capital and innovation capacity, while fostering social inclusion of citizens and increasing their labour

Within the broader framework of these international developments and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, UIL will continue to promote research and capacity-building in lifelong learning, including in the higher education sector.
