Highland Park distillery is an Island single malt Scotch whisky distillery located in Kirkwall on the Orkney Islands. Is the second northernmost single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Scotland, [1][2] .
Highland Park is, at least until the new micro Scotch distillery opens in John O’Groats in 2021, Scotland’s northernmost whisky distillery on the storm-swept Orkney Islands. Its pleasant heather and honey flavors make Highland Park, together with the delicate peat smoke, a perfect all-rounder.
The Famous Grouse is a brand of blended Scotch whisky produced by The Edrington Group in Scotland. It was first produced by Matthew Gloag & Son in 1896. [1] The single malt whiskies used in The Famous Grouse blend include the Edrington-owned Highland Park and The Macallan. [2]

Was it founded by famed priest turned smuggler Magnus Eunson, or by farmer David Robertson in 1798? The distillery’s ornate wrought ironwork gate certainly attests to the 1798 story.
